Meet With A Counselor
Individual Counseling is an important component of the comprehensive developmental guidance program at H.B. Rhame Elementary. Individual counseling is short-term counseling that is available to ALL students who are experiencing negative feelings such as worry, sadness, fear, disappointment, anger, loneliness, or frustration or for those who just need a listening ear.
Upon request or referral, Mrs. Davis or Mrs. Myers will meet with individual students via Teams to provide strategies to help improve their social skills, discuss feelings, and provide them with the skills necessary for problem solving. All discussions are confidential, therefore, please make certain that your Scholar does not log into meetings in public places or around individuals that they do not wish to be privy to their conversation(s).
